Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Auther (the "Service"), operated by Ziloris ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Auther provides authentication infrastructure for web applications, including token issuance, session management, OAuth provider integration, and developer SDKs. The Service is provided to developers ("Customers") who integrate it into their own applications for use by their end users.
3. Accounts & Access
- You must provide accurate information when creating a dashboard account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and client secrets.
- You must not share, sell, or transfer your credentials to third parties.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Authenticate users in applications that facilitate illegal activity.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or abuse the authentication system.
- Send automated requests that materially degrade service performance.
- Store or transmit malware, spam, or unauthorized data through webhooks.
5. Data Responsibility
You are the data controller for your end users' personal data. Auther acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents from your end users and maintaining a compliant privacy policy for your application.
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of planned maintenance. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions outside our reasonable control.
7. Intellectual Property
The Auther name, logo, dashboard, SDKs, and all associated software are the intellectual property of Ziloris. The SDKs are provided under an ISC license for integration use. You may not rebrand or resell the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ziloris shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
